Domain name considerations

The right name will help your site succeed. The name of your web site doesn't have to be the exact name of your business. In choosing a domain name, (the actual www. address for your web site), there are several considerations.

bulletThe name should be easy to remember. It can be a catchy phrase or the actual name of your business or your given name.

bulletShorter names are easier to remember. Shorter names are better.

bulletThe name should be easy to type. You cannot use spaces, but you can use a dash(-) .

bulletMost people are used to typing ".com" after a name, it takes more concentration to type ".net" or ".org"

After taking into account all of the above considerations, the problem comes in finding a good name that is not already in use.
